ESFA Refund Policy

At Emerging Stars Football Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality football training programs. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to offer a fair and transparent refund policy in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as enforced by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

1. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be granted under the following circumstances:

A. Major Failures (as defined by ACL)

You are entitled to a full refund or compensation if the academy:

  • Fails to deliver the service as promised (e.g., cancellation of an entire term’s program without an alternative arrangement).

  • Provides a service that is significantly different from what was advertised or expected.

  • Engages in misleading or deceptive conduct regarding the program's content or outcomes.

B. Minor Issues

If an issue arises that can be reasonably fixed, we will:

  • Offer a make-up session or alternative training.

  • Provide a partial refund where appropriate.

2. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or personal scheduling conflicts.

  • Injury or illness (unless a medical certificate is provided, in which case a credit may be applied to future sessions).

  • Failure to attend sessions without prior notice.

  • Weather-related cancellations where the academy offers alternative arrangements (such as rescheduled sessions or online training).

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a written request via email to aluledonato@gmail.com 

  2. Include:

    • Your full name and contact details.

    • The reason for the refund request and any supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate).

    • Payment details for processing the refund.

4. Processing Time

  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.

5. Alternative Remedies

Instead of a refund, we may offer:

  • A credit towards future sessions.

  • A transfer of enrollment to another participant.
